Let us guide you through the process of creating a bespoke piece with our one on one service. Here we work with you to co-create your own unique piece that reflects your personal story. We work differently from most traditional metalsmiths in that we work with the process of lost wax casting - hand carving each piece from wax before casting in precious metals. Each piece is handcrafted with specially sourced gemstones and cast in 100% recycled precious metals.

THERE ARE FOUR STAGES TO THE BESPOKE PROCESS

STAGE ONE

We begin the journey by discussing your design ideas and gaining an understanding of your vision. We collect reference images, discuss your gemstone and metal preferences and let you know what is possible within your budget.

STAGE TWO

Once we have a good understanding of your vision, we begin the gemstone sourcing process. We hand select gemstone options within your budget.

STAGE THREE

Once your gemstones are selected we begin carving your special piece from wax. Once ready, you will receive image and video updates ~ local clients can see their piece in person. From here you can make any final design adjustments before having your piece cast in precious metals.

We will complete the final finishing and polishing stages of your piece and its ready to take home!

STAGE ONE

consultation

We offer online & in person consultations. We have worked with clients across the globe for more than 10 years and take our time to ensure we understand your vision and are involved each step of the journey.

At this stage we build an understanding of your vision by collecting reference images and specifications for your piece. Once we know your metal type, gemstones preference, design and budget we can begin sourcing your gemstones.

STAGE TWO

gemstone selection process

Once we have a good understanding of your piece we will get in touch with our suppliers and put together a personalised gemstone selection for you.

We will be able to give you an exact quote for each stone in your chosen metal & design.

At this stage we can also provide sketches if required.

Ethics

We have long standing relationships with trusted local suppliers and can guarantee their ethical and quality practices.

Certification

All white diamonds over 0.5ct can be certified with GIA or AusCert.

It is an incredible honour to work with special heirloom gemstones. Our ability to use your gemstones will depend on their type & cut.

STAGE THREE

the sculpting process

After your stones have been selected and purchased we will get started on hand sculpting your unique piece from wax.

We will send through video and image updates. If you are local you can view your wax in person. From here you can make final adjustments to your design. Once you have confirmed your piece we will send it off to be cast in precious metals before completing the final sanding and polishing stages.

STAGE FOUR

receive your unique piece

Once we have completed the final finishing and polishing stages, your new treasure is ready to take home. We can send your piece to you in the post or arrange a local pick up.

Typically pieces take up to 6 weeks from the date your deposit has been placed. However, each piece is different and the timeline will depend on your specific design, how many changes are made along the way and the rarity of the gemstone you would like us to source.

We understand that creating a piece can be a little overwhelming! We would like to make this as smooth as possible for you.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

It is an incredible honour to work with client’s special inherited gemstones. Our ability to use your gemstones depends on the gemstone type, cut and size. Please get in touch if you would like to explore the possibilities for your gemstones.

Supplied gemstones - Generally we don’t accept client sourced gemstones as we are unable to guarantee the origins and integrity. However this is a case by case basis. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss this option.

Supplied metals - Unfortunately we are not able re-purpose your jewellery. Our pieces are made from 100% recycled metals through a local casting house. They have strict quality controls for the process and due to this they don’t accept supplied metals.
