Our Story

The Line of Sun was born as a passion project. Alice’s love for the craft meant that jewellery making became a daily ritual. Over the years, she evolved a sculptural art practice, heavily influenced by organic forms and celebrating the maker’s mark. Each piece is carved from wax by hand. Every detail, setting and texture is crafted with intention, creating truly bespoke pieces that will one day become heirlooms.

All pieces are designed & made in Melbourne from 100% recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones. With minimising waste as an important focus, every scrap of wax and metal is saved during the working process & melted down to create new works.

After working in the jewellery industry for 8 years, we have formed long standing connections with our gem cutters and suppliers to ensure a high quality and ethical standard of materials.
